Hi Everyone,Karate Kid was terrific, I am going to see it again! I think Jackie Chan adds a lot to it because he is a martial artist, as opposed to the late Pat Morita who played Mr. Miyagi and was…Continue

It's good to hear from you as well. I love this website! what a great idea.
Yes, I have been practicing Wado. I joined a dojo here about a year or so ago and had the aim of recieving Shodan in that style. I has so greatful that the Sensei there (Sensei Rusty) didn't make me start over at white belt. He let me keep my junior black belt from your dojo and basically had me ranked as a 1st kyu. Sensei Rusty and the Sempis at the dojo taught me the two kata I needed to advance to Shodan in Wado. I recently have stopped attending the dojo but I am still practicing on my own. I believe I've gotten everything I wanted to get out of the Wado-Ryu dojo so I'm exploring the benefits of training at home for a while. I go over each kata every time I train, including the katas I learn from Goju-Ryu.
How is Martial Arts America doing? I miss it soooo much! Can't wait til I visit!
